We are honoured to announce very special guest @junii_diamond Artist, Owner, Co-Founder of Diamond Club located in San Francisco, California will be guesting at Thirteen Feet Tattoo and attending Sydney Tattoo convention 2024!
@diamondclubtattoo was founded in 1991 by Junii Shimada and Bill Salmon, tattoo’s star-crossed lovers. The Diamond Club is a professional tattoo studio whose artists hold the highest standard in our art and tattoos all styles of work from traditional tattoos to new school.
Junii’s classic Japanese designs are lush, sensual and altogether wonderful. Her kanji are exquisite. “If you want kanji, get it from a Japanese artist. Junii’s kanji are beautifully drawn, and the meaning is always correct.” Admonishes Junii’s long time husband Sailor Bill an incredibly talented and respected artist who sadly passed away in 2019, RIP Bill.
Diamond Club Tattoo Studio still remains today and is a beacon of Japanese style tattoos that offers an intimately private setting where artistry and tradition merge. Run by Junii and a skilled team, clients receive customised body art by appointment only, delivering a personalised and meticulous approach. Sublime designs and vibrant ink resonate with echoes from the universe, making this place a hidden gem amongst connoisseurs in know.

Eddy Deutsche

Being from Detroit, Michigan, Eddy became interested in tattooing at young age and influenced by people from his neighborhood and in the punk rock scene.
Around 1982 a tattooist in Detroit called “Mel the Head” said that Eddy could find an apprenticeship in California. So, in 1983, Deutsche hitchhiked from Detroit to San Francisco. There, he swept up and cleaned at Lyle Tuttle’s shop on 7th street, but found that he was too young for an apprenticeship.
So, he went south to Los Angeles where he tried again to seek an apprenticeship. He had no luck, but he did collect some great tattoos from Bob Roberts and Marc Mahoney.
Finally, he got his first job tattooing in 1986 from Kinzie B. in San Diego. His big break happened with an invite from Don Ed Hardy to accompany him on a work trip to Tokyo Japan. “Of course, I jumped at it and had one of the most amazing times of my life.”
Six months later Hardy decided he would open a street shop in San Francisco “Tattoo City” with Freddy Corbin, Dan Higgs and Eddy Deutsche, “if I were so inclined”.

Owner of the famous Temple Tattoo and Tattoo 13 Freddy Corbin has been tattooing for over three decades and specializes in black-and-grey tattooing, ranging from lettering to religious iconography and more.
From the 1990s powerhouse that was Ed Hardys tattoo city in San Fransisco alongside Eddy Deutsche to the colorful red lights of Amsterdam with another godfather of European tattooing hanky-panky, Freddy is a tattooer you do not want to miss out on getting tattooed by!
