Yes! Walk-in tattoos are welcome at all three Thirteen Feet Tattoo studios in Newtown, Haymarket and Circular Quay, subject to artist availability.

We recommend giving your preferred studio a quick call, sending an SMS or messaging us on Instagram before coming in, so we can confirm that an artist has time available for your tattoo.

Whether you're after a small tattoo, fine line design or something spontaneous, our team is happy to help. For larger or more detailed tattoos, we recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred artist and appointment time.

The cost of your tattoo depends on the size, placement, detail, style and time required. Pricing will be discussed with you before your appointment so you know what to expect.

Cash is our preferred payment method for tattoos, and ATMs are available inside our studios for your convenience. Please note that our ATMs require a physical bank card and do not support contactless withdrawals.

We also offer EFTPOS and accept major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Afterpay is also available.

Yes! We have artists experienced in tattoo cover-ups, reworks and transforming existing tattoos into new designs.

Cover-up options depend on the size, darkness, age and condition of your existing tattoo. Send us a clear photo of your current tattoo along with some reference images of what you'd like, and we can help you explore your options.

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel your tattoo appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable, as your appointment time is reserved and artists may begin preparing artwork in advance.

Where sufficient notice is provided and artwork has not commenced, deposits may be held for up to 12 months or transferred on a case-by-case basis. Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

No. Thirteen Feet Tattoo only tattoos clients aged 18 years and over. Valid photographic identification may be required before your appointment.

We recommend eating a substantial meal before your appointment, drinking plenty of water and getting a good night's sleep.

Bring water and snacks, particularly if you're booked for a longer tattoo session. Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs, and keep the area being tattooed clean and protected from sunburn.

Yes. Our studios operate in accordance with applicable NSW tattooing and public health requirements, and our artists follow strict infection-control and hygiene procedures.

We use sterile, single-use needles and appropriate disposable materials, with thorough cleaning and hygiene procedures between clients. Your health and safety are always a priority.

Your artist will explain the appropriate aftercare routine for your tattoo before you leave the studio.

For traditional plastic wrap, follow your artist's instructions on when to remove it. Gently wash your tattoo with clean water and mild, fragrance-free soap, then pat dry with clean paper towel. Apply a thin layer of recommended tattoo aftercare product as directed.

Keep your tattoo clean, avoid picking or scratching, and wear loose, comfortable clothing while it heals. Initial surface healing generally takes around 2–4 weeks, although complete healing can take longer.

Adhesive tattoo healing films such as Second Skin or Saniderm may be suitable for some tattoos. Your artist will advise whether this type of dressing is appropriate and how long it should remain in place.

Follow the specific product and artist instructions. If the dressing leaks, the seal breaks, or you experience irritation, contact your artist for advice on safe removal and aftercare.

While your tattoo is healing, avoid swimming pools, beaches, baths, spas, saunas, direct sunlight and soaking the tattoo in water.

Avoid scratching, picking, shaving or waxing the tattooed area. Try to minimise friction, heavy sweating and activities that may irritate the skin during the initial healing period.
